Jaipur : In Khoh Nagorian police station area, a low-floor bus hit a couple riding a bike. The wife died in the accident, while the husband and one and a half year old son were injured. People present on the spot beat up the driver and handed him over to the police. The police took the injured father and son to the hospital where they are undergoing treatment.
According to the police, the victim of the accident, Rizwana (28), was a resident of Goner Road. On Tuesday, she was going home with her husband Nisar Alam and son on a bike. Meanwhile, a low-floor bus going from Goner to Vatika hit the bike. This caused the bike to go out of control, due to which all three fell on the road. Rizwana’s head came under the bus, due to which she died on the spot. After the accident, the bus driver was trying to escape. People present on the spot caught him and beat him up. Police reached the spot on information and caught the driver Mukesh. After getting the post-mortem done at SMS Hospital, the police handed over the body to the family members.
