Two players selected for Barmer 68th National Hockey Competition

Barmer : 68th National School Hockey Championship for 17 years students category is being organized from 22 to 28 November 2024 in Rohtak, Haryana. It is a matter of happiness for the district that in this competition, 2 players associated with Hockey Barmer have been selected at the national level. Coach Sawai Singh said that Dushyant Singh Khara, a class 10 student of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Barmer, and Yuvraj Singh Chuli, a class 8 student of St. Paul’s Higher Secondary School, Jaisalmer, have been selected in the 68th National School Hockey Championship in the 17 year old student category. Which is a great opportunity for the hockey players of Barmer.

CBSE Sports and Welfare Organization coach Zuber Khan and team captain Yuvraj Singh Chuli and vice-captain Shahid Khan were appointed. Under his leadership, selected players from CBSE board schools from all over India are participating in the National School Sports Competition in the 17 year old student category organized by the School Games Federation of India in Rohtak. Yuvraj Singh, resident of Chuli village of Barmer, performed brilliantly in this competition. Due to which he was appointed captain of the CBSE team. Along with him, Dushyant Singh, resident of Khara village of Barmer, is also playing as a forward player.
