Alwar : Sariska elevated road work has intensified. If this road is built, it will take 45 minutes less to reach Jaipur from Alwar via Thanagaji. That means the journey of four and a quarter hours will be completed in 3 hours. In the new plan, this road will be made four lanes instead of two lanes. The NH wing of PWD has sent the alignment of Sariska Elevated Road to the Central Government. Its two routes have been decided. The more suitable route from Alwar to Talvriksha is being considered. This will also reduce costs and wildlife will also easily pass under the road. The cost of the second route is higher. However, the detailed project report will be prepared after the approval of the Central Government.
The proposal has been circulating for 3 years
The proposal of Sariska Elevated Road has been circulating for 3 years, but till now it has not come to the ground. NH wing of PWD prepared the first DPR, in which the expenditure was Rs 2400 crore. The government asked the concerned officers what benefit the public would get by investing so much money? The officer could not answer this. After this, work was done on the revised DPR but that too did not work. Now the new alignment is ready. In which two routes have been decided. This proposal has been sent to the Central Government through the State Government.
These can be two routes
First- From Alwar via Natni Ka Baran, it will reach Kushalgarh and from there via Talvriksha, it will reach Thanagaji Tirahe. After that the Jaipur route will go ahead. Through this route, a 10 km stretch will extend from Kushalgarh to Talvriksha. The total road length will be 32 km, but it is NH route. Can be made easily. If the road is four lane then the distance of 10 km will be covered in 6 minutes. The expenditure will also be around Rs 1400 crore. Wildlife will be able to come out from below. This path will not stand entirely on pillars. Paths will be made for the animals to escape.
Second- An elevated road can be constructed from Alwar to Kushalgarh via Natni Ka Baran and from there to Thanagaji via Bhartrihari Dham. It will become a four lane over the old road. Its cost will be around Rs 2400 crore. Its length is 22 km from Alwar to Thanagaji. The entire road will be elevated. That means it will stand on pillars.
This is the specialty of Alwar to Talvriksha route
Farmers’ land will be reduced considerably on this 32 km long route.
This entire route will be made of four lanes instead of two lanes. The road from Alwar to Natni Ka Baran will be widened.
The distance of the route from Natni Ka Baran to Thanagaji will be 22 km, in which there will be 7 km opening area, through which wildlife will be able to pass through. The remaining 15 km road will be on land. However, its height will be like that of Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, on which wildlife will not be able to come.
Every 700 meters, an area of 300 meters will be left for wildlife, through which wildlife will come out.
If this proposal is approved by next month, it will be ready in two and a half years.
