Two thousand policemen will be deployed in this city of Rajasthan today and tomorrow, know the reason

Jodhpur : Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Alok Srivastava said that talks were held with intellectuals regarding the procession on Eid Miladunnabi. Maintaining mutual brotherhood, it was agreed to take out a procession from the stadium to Ghantaghar, New Road, Railway Station and Idgah. Police is on alert mode regarding the immersion of Ganesh idols on Eid Miladunnabi on the first day, Monday and Anant Chaturdashi on the second day, Tuesday. More than two thousand policemen will be deployed during both the religious events in two days. As a precaution, the roofs of houses and commercial establishments were checked with drones. At the same time, the police did a route march from Jalori Gate to Railway Station and from Olympic Tiraha to Idgah and Jalori Gate. Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Alok Srivastava said that talks were held with intellectuals regarding the procession on Eid Miladunnabi. Maintaining mutual brotherhood, it was agreed to take out a procession from the stadium to Ghantaghar, New Road, Railway Station and Idgah. During the procession, a total of more than two thousand policemen have been deployed in both the districts of the Commissionerate. Same number of policemen will be deployed on Anant Chaturdashi also.

Inspecting the roofs

Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Rajarshi Raj Verma said that there will be strict security arrangements during Eid Miladunnabi procession and Anant Chaturdashi. More than three hundred policemen have been deployed around Idgah and Jhalori Gate in Jodhpur district. Police station officers and jawans have been deployed including Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police and two ACPs. Police checked the roofs of houses and shops around the places on the procession route with the help of drones. The roofs will be checked again on Monday morning before the procession.

Police deployed at water reservoirs

On Anant Chaturdashi, police will be deployed with the floats coming out from the streets and localities for immersion. They will accompany the floats till they reach the water bodies. Apart from this, police will also be deployed at the water bodies for safety and to avoid accidents during immersion. On Anant Chaturdashi, more than three hundred policemen have been deployed at Jalori Gate and nearby areas on Tuesday.

Police route march

Led by Assistant Commissioner of Police (West) Chhabi Sharma, the police contingent conducted a route march in the evening from Jhalori Gate via MGH Road, RR Tiraha, Railway Station, Olympic Tiraha, Idgah, Gol Building to Jhalori Gate.
