Bikaner : Police revealed an incident of theft in Jayanarayan Vyas Colony police station area of Bikaner in just twelve hours. The incidents of theft have increased in Bikaner in the last few days and revelations are also happening rapidly. With the help of CCTV footage and other technical support, the police is not taking much time to catch the thieves. On the instructions of Superintendent of Police Kavendra Singh Sagar, a special team was formed for the theft in Jayanarayan Vyas Colony, which busted the thieves in just twelve hours. On November 29, a theft took place at a woman’s house in Jayanarayan Vyas Colony. The woman lodged an FIR in this regard at Vyas Colony police station on 30 November.
She told the police that she had gone out of Bikaner and unknown thieves entered the house from behind and stole it. Her precious gold and silver jewelery and other valuable household items were stolen. The investigation of the case was handed over to Head Constable Vijay Singh. Police Station Officer Surendra Pachar formed teams under the leadership of SI Devendra Soni. CCTV camera footage was seen at places near the theft. Some youths were suspicious and were kept under surveillance. The informer was also alerted. After this, the police arrested Harikishan alias Kishan Bhat, age 23, resident of Canal Pulia, near Udasar and Ravi Nayak, age 21, resident of Pemasar Road, Udasar. Together, both of them had committed theft in the woman’s house. While the goods are being recovered, both of them are also being interrogated about other thefts.
