Alwar : Alwar Bhiwadi Municipal Council, which is facing financial crisis, is not able to tender for drone survey to collect urban development fees from residential and commercial properties. The tender process for drone survey was conducted twice in the last two years, but it could not be done due to no firm participating in the tender process. This time also the officials had claimed to float the tender in the month of November, but it could not happen.
More than half of the financial year 2024-25 has passed. The reason behind the delay in the tender process is said to be the vacancy in the posts of revenue officers and employees in the city council. At the same time, the officials are now claiming that the tender for drone survey will be done soon by giving additional charge of Revenue Officer to the city planner. UD tax is being collected in Bhiwadi on the basis of the year 2016. Due to which the tender process of drone survey is getting delayed. The tender process will be started in the next two to three days.
