Udaipur : Udaipur Govardhan Vilas police station has arrested 7 vicious accused of online betting gang. From which 3 registers containing accounts of transactions worth crores of rupees have been recovered. Besides, 5 laptops, 12 mobiles, 6 ATM and 6 bank diaries along with debit cards have been recovered.
Police had raided the house
Police Officer Bhawani Singh Rajawat said that the police had received information that some youths were engaged in online betting in a house located in South Extension Scheme. On information, police reached the spot and investigated. The youth present there were seen working on laptop and mobile. Seeing the police, he stood up in shock. When asked about his work, he admitted to gambling and betting on a website. These people used to engage the customers in betting by linking them to the website and giving them points in exchange for the amount. A case has been registered against the accused under the IT Act and further investigation is underway.

Has been arrested.
