Udaipur : Ambamata police station of Udaipur has arrested 1 accused with illegal drug MDMA and country made pistol. Police Station Officer Dr. Hanwant Singh Rajpurohit said that the accused Farhan Akhtar (23) alias Chikna, father of Abdul Farid, resident of Mukherjee Chowk has been arrested. From this, 1 country made pistol and 1 live cartridge along with 52 grams of MDMA have been recovered.
The accused told during interrogation that he had ordered MDMA from Nimbahera resident Saddam Hussain alias Bhola’s father Raees Bhai. Saddam alias Bhola had delivered this MDMA through Faizan Khan resident of Chhoti Sadri and Mohsin Khan alias Pintu resident of Nimbahera. The accused had gone to Nimbahera several times in the past and brought MDMA from Saddam alias Bhola, Faizan and Mohsin Khan. Apart from this, the accused admitted to purchasing pistol and live cartridges from Imran alias Kati resident of Nimbahera for Rs 30 thousand. The accused had purchased this pistol due to some personal rivalry with someone and to establish his status among the people. Police said that three accused are still absconding in the case who will be arrested soon. The arrested accused is being interrogated.
