Udaipur-Agra: Loco pilot beaten up on the very first day of Vande Bharat train, railways embarrassed in front of thousands of people

Udaipur : As soon as the fourth Vande Bharat train started operating in Rajasthan, there was chaos on the first day. There was a dispute over the working of the Vande Bharat train which started from Udaipur to Agra via Kota. Loco pilots were beaten up in the engine cabin and boxes and bags were thrown out of the engine. During this time, the Vande Bharat train stood at Gangapur City station for about 15 minutes.

Loco pilot assaulted in Agra

According to the information, the work of operating the Vande Bharat train was given to the running staff of Gangapur City from Kota to Agra and Agra to Kota. After leaving Gangapur City for Agra, as soon as the train reached Agra Fort station at 2 pm, the running staff of Agra Fort and the leaders of the recognized union beat up the loco pilot and assistant loco pilots over the working of the train, due to which they got injured. Not only this, both the loco pilots were taken out of the cabin. On this, the loco pilots informed the recognized unions of Gangapur City about the incident of assault.

After this, the running staff and union leaders of Gangapur City became angry. When the Vande Bharat Express train reached Gangapur City, the running staff and union officials created a ruckus in front of the train, which caused chaos at the station. After this, people entered the loco pilot’s cabin. The GRP police station tried to intervene, but the Gangapur running staff beat up the loco pilot and threw his luggage out. Due to the ruckus, the train stood at Gangapur City station for 15 minutes.

Gangapur City running staff got the job of operation

Later, the running staff of Gangapur City forcibly took the Vande Bharat train and left for Kota at 5:10. GRP station incharge Dalveer Singh says that no report has been received. Railway officials are being contacted regarding working. Meanwhile, divisional vice president of West Central Railway Employees Union Narendra Jain said that the operation of Vande Bharat train was given to Gangapur City running staff by the divisional officials, but Agra Fort running staff beat up the running staff of Gangapur City and in protest against this, the loco pilot and guard of Agra Fort were taken off the train with the help of police at the railway station. Railway Mazdoor Sangh and union officials protested and later the matter was settled after Gangapur City staff took the train to Kota.
