Udaipur: Both accused of murdering uncle in land dispute arrested

Udaipur : Udaipur Bekaria police station arrested two accused in the case of murder of uncle in a land dispute. Under the leadership of Police Officer Uttam Singh, the police team raided the dense forests of Devla and arrested the accused Shaitan son of Jotaram Garasia and Reshmaram son of Jotaram Garasia, resident of Ubara, Gogrud police station Bekaria. Applicant Manaram Garasia, a resident of Pandibor, gave the report and said that on Sunday evening, both he and his younger brother Bhutaram were irrigating the fields. Shaitan and Reshmaram, the sons of my elder brother Jotaram, son of Dhiraram, suddenly came with sticks in their hands and as soon as they came, both of them attacked us brothers. Bhutaram was injured by beating him on the head and body at various places with a stick. Both of them also beat me with sticks. Bhai Bhutaram died on the spot in the night due to serious injuries. The attackers, Shaitan and Reshma, are my brother’s sons. There was a dispute going on between us regarding distribution of land and distribution of wells. Because of this, Satan and Reshma came to our farm and killed my brother Bhutaram by beating him with a stick.

On this, Bekaria police took immediate action and formed two teams and laid siege in the dense forests of Devla and arrested the accused. During interrogation, both of them confessed to their crime. After this he was produced in Gogunda Court, from where he was sent on two-day police remand. The police team included SHO Uttam Singh, ASI Amar Singh Rajput, Bhanwar Singh Rajput, constables Vishnaram, Umedaram, Karan Singh and Jodharam.
