Udaipur : Udaipur, Salumber MLA Shanta Devi Meena held a meeting with many public representatives including wildlife officers regarding development works at the Wildlife Office located on the banks of the famous Jaisamand Lake. Where MLA Meena, while discussing the development works, gave necessary directions to the concerned officer Meghwal. During this, the MLA collected information regarding the fee charged from tourists by the EDC committee run by Jaisamand Pal. Interlocking at Jaisamand Pal, damaged swings in the garden, providing pure drinking water to the tourists, installing road lights on the roadside from Pal to Jaisamand Bus Stand, painting the umbrellas located at Pal, the roads leading to Pal from Jaisamand Bus Stand. But instructions were given to install entrance gates and clean them. On this, officer Shantilal Meghwal said that a proposal amounting to about Rs 43 lakh for all the development works including interlocking had already been sent to the Tribal Department.
However, the ranger said that cleanliness, maintenance (security) and basic facilities are being provided in the pal and garden by the EDC committee. Here, the MLA met Tribal Minister Babulal Kharadi and asked to get the said amount approved for various development works including interlocking. Instructions were given to get other development works done soon from the budget of the EDC Committee. Jaisamand Mandal President Fateh Singh Sisodia, Vice President Motilal Audichya Piladar, General Secretary Anil Chaubisa, Dehat District Vice President Shantilal Meena, Jaisamand Panchayat Samiti Opposition Leader Khuman Singh, OBC Mandal President Ramesh Dangira, General Secretary Jeevan Singh, Chappan Mandal Vice President Narayan Singh Chatpur, Treasurer Mangilal Jain and Shiv Singh was also present. Tribe regarding various development works including interlocking tiles, display board and entrance The proposal has been sent to the department. The work of cleanliness and maintenance is being done by the committee.
