Udaipur : To maintain the law and order situation, late on Monday night, the Udaipur administration attached the road leading to Dhuni and Zanana Mahal from Badi Pol at the disputed site City Palace and the place where Dhuni is located. Ghantaghar police station officer was appointed receiver. Do you know what it means? District and Additional District Magistrate have many types of powers to maintain law and order in the city. When the dispute escalated on Monday, ADM City War Singh attached the disputed property of City Palace under Section 163 of the Indian Civil Code Security Act.
Receiver appointed. This means that now only the receiver will have the right over the attached property, that is, this area will be under his control. They will decide who will come and who will not. It is written in the notice that both the parties have to present their case in the Additional District Magistrate Court on November 27. If the ADM Court is satisfied with the answers of both the parties then it will give its decision on this further. This notice is valid only for 2 months.
The term can be extended with the permission of the government
After this, it can be extended for a maximum of 6 months but for this special permission has to be taken from the state government. Here, the person whose property is attached can get a stay on it from the District Court. But there also the administration can present its side. The court decides on stay only after hearing both of them.
