Udaipur : Udaipur Independent MLA from Shiv Ravindra Singh Bhati came to Udaipur on Monday. Regarding the case registered against him in Jaisalmer on obstruction of official work, he said – A false case has been registered against me for making two youths go from the police jeep. Efforts are being made to suppress the voices of the youth and the public. It is obvious that efforts are being made to suppress the voice of those who fight. No such incident had happened there. There was no snatching. You are talking about litigation in official matters. On the other hand, your own officers are saying that we have not made any arrests. You cannot unnecessarily detain someone without arresting him.
Let us tell you, on Saturday, an FIR was registered against Shiv MLA in Jhinjhinyali police station of Jaisalmer. He is accused that during the protest against a private company in Jaisalmer, the police had caught two youths and made them sit in a jeep. During this time the MLA arrived and forcibly took both the youths out of the jeep. After which a case has been registered against him and the investigation has been handed over to CID-CB.
