Udaipur : Udaipur Rajasthan Road Transport Corporation is starting a new bus between Jaipur-Udaipur on 1st December. It will depart from Udaipur depot at 1:30 pm and reach Jaipur at 8:30 pm. The journey will take about 8 hours. This will be the shortest bus to Jaipur during the day. Other buses take between 8.30 to 11.30 hours. This BS-6 category bus will be 3 by 2 seater. It will be operated like the luxury bus service Volvo on Udaipur-Jaipur route. The bus will not stop at small stands on the route.
After leaving from Udaipur, it will stop only at Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara, Vijaynagar, Nasirabad, Kishangarh. With this, passengers will be able to reach Jaipur by bus in less time. Its per person fare will be Rs 436. At present 16 buses are being operated daily from Udaipur to Jaipur. These include express, semi deluxe, AC deluxe and super luxury buses. The first bus from Udaipur to Jaipur leaves at 5.15 am and the last one leaves at 11 pm.
Fare will be Rs 436, now 17 buses for Jaipur
At present two luxury buses are being operated from Udaipur to Jaipur. The first bus leaves at 10 am. It reaches Jaipur in eight and a half hours. The per person fare in this is Rs 811. After this, the super luxury sleeper bus of Ahmedabad-Jaipur route coming from Gujarat leaves from Udaipur depot at 11 pm. It reaches Jaipur in fifteen to eight hours. The fare per person is Rs 770.
