Udaipur: The custom of Vishvaraj Singh to sit on the throne of Mewar will be on 25th.

Udaipur : After the demise of former royal family member of Udaipur and former MP Mahendra Singh Mewar, now the customary program to enthrone his son Vishwaraj Singh Mewar on the throne as per the dynasty tradition will be held on 25th November. This program will be held in Chittorgarh. The program will be organized at Fatah Prakash Mahal in Chittorgarh (Durg) at 10 am on 25th. Former royal family member of Delwara Pragyaat Singh Delwara said that a large number of people including members of former royal families, relatives, dignitaries and common people from across the country will participate in this program.

Convenor of Mewar Jan Udaipur Sanstha, Kanwar Pratap Singh Jhala ‘Talavda’ tells that the activities of the twelfth day will be completed on 21st November. After this, the auspicious time for the customary program of ascending the throne has fallen on 25th November. Most of the people felt that this event should be organized at Fatah Prakash Mahal in Chittorgarh, from there seven districts would be covered and everyone would reach. After the program, Mewar will come to Udaipur from there and have darshan of Eklingji after having darshan of the clan deities. ‘Talawada’ told that his mourning will be dissolved in Eklingji. The priest of Eklingji will color them, after which they can tie the colored pag after the white pag. From there they will come to Samorbagh Palace where the family and others will give colors, after which they will be able to tie the colored Paag from the next day. It is noteworthy that Mahendra Singh Mewar had died on November 10. His last rites were performed on 11 November at Mahasatiyan in Ayod.
