Udaipur : On Friday, miscreants entered the house in broad daylight and committed robbery in Kamalshree Apartment of Sukher police station area of Udaipur city. The miscreants were taking away jewelery and cash worth lakhs of rupees from the house. Just then when the lady of the house reached the flat, the miscreants beat her up and snatched her purse. Then they pushed her away and ran away with the jewelery and cash they had looted from the house. When the woman raised an alarm, neighbors arrived and took information about the incident. By then the accused had absconded. Police reached the spot and are trying to identify the thieves on the basis of nearby CCTV footage.
Was surprised to see the lock of the house broken
According to the victim Jyoti Sharma- her husband Subhash Sharma works in a private hospital. They had gone to Bhilwara for some work and the child had gone to school. She had locked the flat and gone to the market to buy goods. When she reached home, the lock of the flat was found broken. She was surprised to see this. As soon as the door was opened, the miscreants came out of the gate. Then the woman tried to catch the accused. So they snatched the purse and pushed her and ran away. When the woman went inside, she saw things scattered from the cupboard. Jewelery and cash were looted.
