Udaipur : The five-year tenure of the current board of Udaipur Municipal Corporation completed on Tuesday. In this board, cases ranging from plot scam to payment of fake vehicle bills and vehicle scrap were raised, but the actions remained zero. The echo of the plot scam reached the Assembly and till date the file in the name of investigation has not come out of the SOG office. During the cleaning, fake bills of bike instead of dumper and JCB were caught. Despite the uproar, no FIR has been lodged in any police station till date. For show, notices were served only to seven inspectors of the health branch, but nothing happened to those who verified fake bills. Not only this, the entire cleaning work in the city was given on contract and the vehicles of the corporation were scrapped. When there was an uproar, corporation vehicles were given on hire to the contractors for the first time by putting conditions in the new contracts. In this whole game, even today many big vehicles of the corporation are being scrapped. The parking built in the Town Hall during the tenure of the old board is in trouble. To be counted in the name of development, there are roads, drains, parks and small construction as well as cleaning works. The biggest shortcoming of the tenure was not organizing the street vendors, not opening the night market and not creating a gaming zone for children.

City The controversy over eviction of the slum in front of the railway station has not stopped till date. The encroachment committee had objected to this several times.
townhall The dispute over building a park on a dilapidated parking lot worth Rs 14 crore did not stop.

Pichola He himself launched an eco-friendly boat in the lake, but could not take his boat out due to the bullying of the hotel staff.
