Udaipur : Udaipur: Virag Madhumalati, who set out on a 1200 km walking journey from Navi Mumbai, reached Udaipur. Now we have set out for Nakoda ji. He has planted more than 31,000 trees giving the message of eye donation awareness and environmental protection. Virag has completed the 961 kilometer padyatra till Udaipur. After reaching here, he made a record by walking 111 kilometers continuously for 24 hours. A claim for this has been made in the World Record Book of India. Virag says- He has already registered his name in the Guinness Book of World Records five times.
He told that his target is to plant 1 lakh trees through Save Mother Earth Mission. Till now his team has planted more than 31000 trees. This journey will take a break with the darshan of Nakoda Bhairav Dev. His wife Vandana Wankhade is also accompanying him in the 1200 km walking journey, who is taking care of the arrangements of the entire team. He said – during the walking journey, we start walking in the morning and plant trees wherever possible. Along with this, through devotional music during night rest, people around are inspired to save the environment. He is a playback singer. To protect the environment, he has also pledged not to drink water in plastic bottles throughout his life.
