Director of Meteorological Centre, Jaipur, Radheshyam Sharma said that the average maximum mercury in December is fixed at 26 and minimum is 8.8 degrees. There is a possibility of less than normal rainfall throughout the month. Udaipur receives an average rainfall of 0.8 mm in December. Out of the last 10, 7 years have been dry. The weather is likely to remain dry in the coming days.
Rained only three times in 10 years
If we talk about rain in December, only three times in 10 years has it rained for one day only. In the rest of the years there has been clear sky and sunshine throughout the month. In 2023, there was 9.4 mm rainfall on 3 December, in 2021 there was 14.7 mm rainfall on 28 December and in 2017 there was 5.6 mm rainfall on 6 December.
