Udaipur : Youth Congress demonstrated outside the residence of the Municipal Corporation Mayor regarding the problem of open garbage spread at various places in Udaipur city. Under the leadership of Congress youth leaders Siddharth Soni and Neeraj Meghwal, the youth collected the garbage of the area and spread it outside the mayor’s residence. Ramesh Meghwal, Aditya Sharma, Chandan, Hardik Teli, Dev Khandelwal, Dilip and Bunty Parmar etc. were included in this performance.
Youth Congress alleged that there is garbage lying in the open at many places in Udaipur city which is not cleaned from time to time by the Municipal Corporation. Due to this, the people nearby are facing problems and the image of the city is also being tarnished in front of the tourists coming from outside. The protesters have demanded that wherever garbage is being thrown in the open, the garbage should be collected as before. Containers should be installed for storage. Also, garbage collection vehicles should be ensured to collect garbage two to three times a day. The protesters said that if a solution is not found soon, they will protest further.
