Nagpur, December 19 (IANS). On Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray’s meeting with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Samajwadi Party leader Abu Azmi has said that Uddhav Thackeray wants to go on the same path as the BJP.
Abu Azmi has said that whoever becomes the Chief Minister, we go to meet him regarding our work. We have no enmity with anyone. But there is a difference in our ideology. If Uddhav Thackeray has met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis for political reasons, then there is no problem in it, it is a good thing. But, I see that his seat in the assembly has reduced, so he has started saying that he will run on the issue of Hindutva. I regret that after forming a secular alliance, it has been said that congratulations to those who demolished Babri Masjid in Ayodhya on 6th December. If any leader of his party had said so then he should have stopped, but he did not stop. This makes it clear that Shiv Sena again wants to go on the same path on which it was earlier and on which BJP is on. The ideology of both is the same. Now why Uddhav Thackeray has met, will be known after a few days.
On Samajwadi Party not joining the Congress protest in Lucknow, he has said that there is no difference of opinion with the Congress. But Congress does not cooperate. There is talk of three parties in Mahavikas Aghadi. We are a small party, but our name is not taken. When there were talks in the assembly elections, we were not invited. Congress feels that we should go to the elections alone. But this is the mistake of Congress. If something was happening in Lucknow and if Congress leaders had gone to Akhilesh Yadav, then Samajwadi Party would have joined the protest. I think there might have been no coordination, that is why no one from SP went.
The SP leader said, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi is working hard. But I feel that the people below Rahul Gandhi are misleading him.
