Alwar : Alwar As the pressure from NGT increased, the administration has started extracting files to tighten the noose on hotels-resorts etc. built on Sariska land. UIT has started studying these files again. It is being told that this action will be taken in two weeks. In the first phase, 14 hotels will come under the scanner of action. There are preparations to stop their operations. Not only this, action will also be taken against other illegally built hotels which could not be included in the survey. NGT had recently reprimanded the government and said that the mutation of Sariska land should be discovered soon. Action should be implemented within two weeks and action should also be taken against illegal hotels. In view of this, there has been pressure on the administration. UIT has been instructed to proceed with the action based on the notice issued earlier in Silisedh. UIT has not been able to investigate the files even in two months. It is being told that this action has started only after the NGT order. The officers also want to suppress this matter. UIT Secretary Snehal Nana says that the reply received on the basis of the notice is being studied. The files are running at different stages. We will take action as per the rules.
The mutation process may still take time: NGT has ordered to start the mutation process in two weeks but the process is likely to take time. Even the maps have not been digitalized yet. This will be at the state government level. Maps of about 54 thousand hectares of land are to be prepared.
Network of illegal hotels in Nahargarh Century
NGT has issued notices to some hotels built in ESZ area of Nahargarh Century Jaipur. A high level investigation committee has been formed. There too, preparations are underway to tighten the screws. The petition filed in NGT states that due to the protection of the Forest Department, construction of hotels and resorts is going on continuously in the ESZ area. Forest department land is being encroached upon. Maximum construction has taken place in two years. Some hotels also used the pond land as a walkway.
