Pali : Pandit Omdutt Dave was attacked by Surendra Singh Rajput along with his associates while reciting Sunderkand on a plot located in the Industrial Police Station area of Pali city. Omdutt Dave was seriously injured due to this. The main accused has not been arrested in this case. Regarding this, people from all sections of society demonstrated outside the Collectorate on Monday. If the main accused was not arrested till Tuesday, an ultimatum for strike strike was given on Wednesday. People from all sections of society gathered at Vyas Circle under the leadership of Shrimali Brahmin Samaj President PM Joshi in the morning to protest against the fatal attack on city resident Omdutt Dave. From there, they reached outside the Collectorate raising slogans against the police administration not taking action. A memorandum was given to the District Collector demanding the arrest of the main accused.
These demands were made
-Pt. Financial assistance should be provided to Omdutt Dave.
-The main accused Surendra Singh should be arrested.
-Victim Omdutt should be provided security.
Will request before the closure
All the Samajbandhus told that if the main accused is not arrested, the Samajbandhus will gather at Surajpol on Tuesday evening. From there, they will visit every shop in the market and urge the traders to keep their establishments closed on Wednesday for the sake of justice. Pali city will be closed on Wednesday. On November 13, Pt. Omdutt Dave was reciting Sunderkand with Pandits on his plot in Rajnagar of the city. At the same time, Surendrasingh Rajput along with his associates attacked. Omdutt Dave was seriously injured due to this.
