Dholpur : A speeding truck crushed a bike rider on Dholpur road near Dholpur Town police post. The bike rider youth Pushpendra resident Gohdu Pura was seriously injured in the accident. People took the injured to Shaheed Raghavendra Singh Sub District Hospital of Rajkheda. When his condition became serious, he was referred to the district hospital. Injured Pushpendra told that he was going from Rajkheda to his village in the afternoon. Here, a little ahead of the police post, a speeding truck coming from Agra hit him and ran away. Police is busy searching for the absconding truck driver.
Encroachment is becoming the cause of accidents
The bypass road here in the town is completely under encroachment. Where it is occupied by shopkeepers and illegal autos and vans also park till the main road. In such a situation, traffic management here becomes very difficult. The gathering of illegal vehicles and haphazardly parked vehicles throughout the day in and around Town Chowki and on the Dholpur road causes accidents. Even after having an outpost, the police still stand with their eyes closed.
