Jaipur : Jaipur Housing Board has sold such a plot in auction in Pratap Nagar, whose construction area itself comes up to zero if constructed as per the building bylaws. When the buyer started the work by taking the plot, the Housing Board officials stopped the work on the grounds of illegal construction. The buyer has been making rounds of the Housing Board for a year, but neither the plot is being given at any other place nor the money has been returned. Pratapnagar resident Naresh Kumar Gupta has planned to buy a 141.76 square meter triangular plot of 141.76 square meter plot in Ayush Market through auction on July 30, 2021. Bought in crores. The width on the side facing the 60 meter road is 22.40 meters and on the other side, towards the 12 meter road, the width is 10 meters. The buyer started the construction work a year ago without any setbacks.
Housing Board officials stopped the work on the grounds that the construction of the building was illegal and gave instructions to carry out the construction as per setback rules. When the buyer asked for the setback map from the Housing Board, it came to light that a setback of 9 meters has to be left on a 60 meter wide road, whereas the width of the plot itself is one meter. Apart from this, construction can be done only with a setback of 3 meters from the 12 meter road front and 1.5 meters on one side. In such a situation, there is no land left for construction area.
Housing board officials have been making the buyer run around for a year
On the request of Housing Board officials, the buyer stopped the work, even though he had already spent about Rs 50 lakh on the construction work. On the basis of the map, after leaving the setback area in the plot, due to lack of construction area, they wanted money or a plot at another place, but till now the Housing Board officials are only making the victims run around. In this case, a file has also been filed for giving the plot at another place, but till now no relief has been given. In this case, XEN JD Meena told that he has additional charge, but the process is going on in this case. The victim will be given relief.
