Jaipur : New recruitments are being announced continuously by the state government, but no announcement is being made by the government regarding the eligibility test REET to be conducted for the recruitment of third class teachers in the state. Because of this, the wait for more than ten lakh unemployed people of the state to become teachers is increasing. Although during the previous government the validity of REET was made lifelong, but old as well as new candidates are waiting for REET. Experts say that the government is still confused regarding the recruitment of third grade teachers. Therefore, no official announcement is being made by the government regarding REIT. The unemployed say that as soon as the government came to power, it was argued that the entire system of the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education is busy in the results of the board examinations. Therefore, the decision regarding conducting of REET will be taken after the board results. Now the board has again started preparing for the examinations, but till now no decision has been taken regarding REET.
Special: 50 percent reservation for women in REET first level
Women will also get 50 percent reservation in REET first level. Earlier, the government had promised to give 50 percent reservation to women in Class III teacher recruitment, but when there was opposition, the government clarified that reservation has been given in REET first level only.
Unemployed asked how to prepare, doubts about syllabus too
Unemployed people who are preparing for third grade teacher recruitment say that there is still doubt regarding the syllabus. €Because if this examination is conducted by the government on behalf of the Staff Selection Board, then a change in the syllabus is almost certain. The unemployed say that the government should announce the agency of REET, so that the syllabus can be released.
Lecturer and senior teacher recruitment stuck due to DPC
Due to DPC, lecturer and senior teacher recruitment examination has also got stuck. The unemployed say that this year there is a possibility of recruitment on 25 thousand posts of senior teachers and lecturers, but no release has been issued.
Reit is getting stuck due to these complications
Which agency to get REET done: REET paper was leaked during the previous government. In such a situation, the government has not been able to take a decision whether REET should be conducted by the old agency Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education or the responsibility of the examination should be given to the Staff Selection Board.
One or two exams: The second dilemma of the government regarding REET is whether it should conduct two exams for the recruitment of class III teachers on behalf of the previous government or give jobs only on the basis of REET marks. REET recruitment can be announced only after finding a solution to both the problems.
Due to shortage of teachers in government schools of the state, the education of students is being affected. The government has also announced one lakh recruitments in this year’s budget. Therefore, the government should clarify its policy regarding REET so that the unemployed can start their preparation.
