Dausa News Desk: Elections are going to be held from 4th to 6th December regarding recognition in Railways. For which the Railway Employees Organization is busy preparing. On Saturday evening, the North Western Railway Mazdoor Union organized a general meeting at the union office outside the railway station.
In the general meeting held in the evening, the speakers said that the aim of the union is to constitute the 8th Central Pay Commission, to make the minimum wage Rs 32 thousand 500 instead of Rs 18 thousand, to give the old pension scheme to the railway workers recruited after January 1, 2024, on retirement. Efforts are to be made to provide all the benefits accordingly, to remove restrictions regarding posts in railways, to stop privatization and outsourcing. Apart from this, to provide medical facilities to the mothers and fathers of the railway employees, unconditional medical and pass facilities will be provided. The commutation period on retirement will be reduced from 15 years to 12 years.
He said that the transport allowance given to all the employees will be exempted from the income tax net. Apart from this, the union has also aimed to get other works done in favor of railway workers.
