Jaipur : There are by-elections on 7 seats in Rajasthan on 13 November. Khinvsar has become the hottest seat among them, from where Kanika Beniwal, wife of Nagaur MP and former MLA from Khinvsar Hanuman Beniwal, is in the fray. Hanuman is promoting him a lot. Beniwal is one of those leaders in Rajasthan politics whose speech style directly connects people. He speaks to people in vernacular language.
‘She would read her own name’
In an election meeting on Tuesday, he took a dig at the process of appointing the Chief Minister by BJP. He has been calling Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma as ‘Parchi Chief Minister’. Because his name was found written in a slip in the legislative party meeting. Beniwal said that if Vasundhara Raje had courage, she would have read her name from the slip given to her by Rajnath Singh and would have eaten the slip. He said that if there was a smart leader he would have done this. It is noteworthy that the Chief Minister was to be selected after BJP got majority in the assembly elections. Rajnath Singh had reached the legislature party meeting with a slip. In front of the media, he gave that slip to Vasundhara Raje sitting next to him. In which the name of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma was written.
47 year old legacy
Hanuman Beniwal comes from a political family and his legacy is 47 years old. Beniwal’s father Ramdev Beniwal has been MLA twice. In 1977, Ramdev Beniwal won the assembly elections from Mundawa seat on Congress ticket and later in 1985, he became an MLA from Lok Dal. After delimitation in 2008, this seat was made Khinvsar assembly seat and Beniwal reached the assembly for the first time by winning on the election symbol of Bharatiya Janata Party.
