Bhilwara : under the ongoing health program under the joint aegis of Bandhan Konnagar and Bandhan Bank, vegetable seeds were distributed on Thursday to promote the initiative of Kitchen Garden at Every Home. The initiative was organized under the guidance of the Department of Women and Child Development, Department of Health and Department of Agriculture, with the aim of promoting health and nutrition.
Area Coordinator Rohit Pareek said that the members and volunteers of the organization will ensure to set up a kitchen garden in every house of Asind Panchayat Samiti area. The main objective of this initiative is to increase vegetable production and strengthen nutritional security in rural areas.
There was active participation of officials of Women and Child Development Department and Agriculture Department in the program. Women Child Development Officer, Supervisor Lalita, Indra, Jyoti, Roshan and Manoj registered their presence. Besides, Agriculture Department official Ranveer Singh Tanwar also participated in the program.
Activist Mamta Jat distributed vegetable seeds to the beneficiaries with the help of officials. This distribution will prove important for improving the nutritional levels of pregnant women and children in particular.
Local people and officials appreciated this initiative. He described it as an important step for improving nutrition and health in rural areas. This initiative of Bandhankonnagar and Bandhan Bank is becoming a successful effort to raise awareness about health and nutrition in the area.
