This written examination will be conducted next year i.e. in the year 2025 in the months of September and November. After the cabinet meeting last month, it was told that now the recruitment of class IV employees and drivers in Rajasthan will also be done through written examination. Since then, the government has also intensified its efforts regarding recruitment.

Rajasthan Staff Selection Board had released the calendar of 70 examinations on Monday evening. In this, the dates of two examinations have been reserved, but which examination will be held in it has not been mentioned. But Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Alok Raj has clarified that the recruitment examination of Class IV employees and drivers will be conducted on these two reserve dates.

In the examination calendar issued by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, 18th September to 21st September 2025 and 22nd and 23rd November 2025 have been kept as reserve dates for the examinations. Recruitment of class IV employees and drivers will be done on these dates.

Chairman of Rajasthan Staff Selection Board, Alok Raj has posted on social media that, “The reserve dates of the board that we have kept on serials 62 and 64 in the calendar are for the posts of Class IV employees and drivers announced by the state government. Are for examinations. For approximately 60 – 65 thousand posts, we will release details when the time comes.”

To bring transparency and uniformity in recruitment, the educational qualification for Class IV service and equivalent posts has been increased from 5th and 8th class pass to 10th. The recruitment will be done through written examination by the Staff Selection Board. The educational qualification for recruitment to the post of driver has also been increased from 8th class pass to 10th class. Recruitment to the posts of driver will also be done by Rajasthan Staff Selection Board through written examination. At present, about 60 thousand posts of Class IV employees are vacant in various departments, on which recruitment will be done in future.
