Barmer : Shiv MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati on Sunday visited 13 GSS of Gadra Road Panchayat Samiti in protest against power cut in Shiv Assembly constituency. He reached Baleba, Harsani, Chahadiyali, Unrod, Asadi, Girab, Sundara, Rohiri, Pithkar, Khalifa Ki Bawdi, Gadra Road, Khaniyani, Detani GSS and listened to the problems of the villagers. Villagers complained about the negligence of JE Ramkesh Meena at Baleba GSS. He alleged that the JE neither answers the phone nor meets the villagers. FRT team is also not reaching on time. While playing the audio, a villager said that JEs cut off single phase electricity in villages to supply three phase electricity to influential people. Villagers also complained about JE at Harsani GSS.
On this, when the MLA wanted information from the JE, the JE said that he sits in the office located on Gadra Road. On this, MLA Bhati reprimanded him and said that why are Harsani and Asri sitting in the Gadra Road office when they are JEs of GSS? JE did not give any satisfactory answer. JE filed a case against the villagers. After MLA Ravindra Singh Bhati left the dialogue program, people of Asri village surrounded JE Ramkesh Meena and misbehaved with him. JE got injured due to the push. Girab police station officer Devi Singh said that the JE has reported that after the program people misbehaved with him and pushed him. A case has been registered against the four named people and others under sections of the SC-ST Act. Police has conducted medical examination of JE. The case is being investigated.
