Villagers in Rajasthan burst out in anger, gave this dangerous punishment to thieves

Alwar : An incident of villagers shaming two youths has come to light in Khedli, Alwar, Rajasthan. Some villagers beat both of them on suspicion of wheat theft, then tied their hands and smeared their faces with soot. Both of them were also paraded around the village. The video of which is going viral on social media. This incident is said to be of 7 September. After the video surfaced, the police showed strictness and registered a case against the accused.

Viral video caused uproar

This matter came to the notice of the police through a viral video. The local people made a video of this incident and uploaded it on social media. Along with this, the police is also being accused that despite knowing about this incident of 7 September, they tried to suppress the matter. Now after the case came to light, there was a stir in the administration and it came to light that no action was taken on the day of the incident. On that day, the police only arrested four people for disturbing the peace in this case.

The youth were made to walk around with their hands tied and their faces smeared with soot

It can be clearly seen in the video that the people who brutally assaulted the youths blackened their faces and paraded them throughout the village. They were also beaten with sticks on the way. The villagers remained spectators and kept making videos with their mobile phones. Some passersby also beat them up. On the day of the incident, a complaint was lodged in Kherli police station against 19 people through the victim’s mother. According to the woman, her sons Aneesh and Kallu were brutally beaten by the villagers on the charge of wheat theft. Whereas these two youths had not stolen anything. Their hands were tied, their faces were blackened and a procession was taken out throughout the village. The accused also beat them with sticks throughout the way.

Police engaged in investigation

Police station officer Mahavir Prasad said that 19 people were named in the case and a report was filed against others. The police reached the spot on the day of the incident and registered a case and investigated the matter. Four accused Pradeep, Manish and Nitesh were arrested. The other accused will be arrested soon.
