New Delhi, November 13 (IANS). Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal President Sachchidanand Joshi had a special conversation with news agency IANS on Wednesday. During this, he described the All India Research Conference to be held in Gurugram as an important step in the field of education.

Joshi said in a special conversation with IANS that the All India Research Conference ‘Vision for Developed India’ to be held in Gurugram on November 15, 16 and 17 will not only be an important step in the field of education, but it will also encourage fundamental research in the country. It will also prove to be a milestone in doing things and giving new direction. This conference is being organized by the Youth Club of Bharatiya Shikshan Mandal and 1,200 scholars have been selected through a rigorous process.

He said that the objective of this conference is to bring innovation in Indian education systems and to get rid of the colonial mentality as well as to move towards original research. He said that 1,200 researchers have been invited in this program, who were selected after contacting more than 1,65,000 researchers in the last two years. The process of selecting research papers for this conference was extremely complex. Workshops were organized for researchers to prepare research papers on 11 specific themes, in which approximately six thousand research papers were received. These papers were then thoroughly reviewed by a high-level screening committee, after which 1,200 researchers were invited to the conference.

He told that on November 15, Sangh chief Dr. Mohan Bhagwat will inaugurate this conference. Apart from this, Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) chief S. Somnath and Nobel laureate Dr. Kailash Satyarthi will also be prominently present.

An important exhibition will also be organized during the conference, which aims to reveal ‘Research to Realisation’. Through this exhibition, new directions of research and investigation, ranging from traditional education methods to technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), will be showcased.

Referring to the new education policy implemented in the year 2020, he said that its objective was to get freedom from the colonial mentality and this conference is also an important step in that direction. He said that this conference is an effort to promote fundamental research and have faith in the intellectual talent of our country, so that we can move one step further in the field of innovation and scientific advancement.
