Jaipur : On behalf of the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, under the Swachhata Pakhwada, the officers and employees of the Regional Office and Northern Zone Jaipur did Shramdaan on the embankment of Jalmahal. During this, Deputy Director General Dr. Hansraj Yadav, Director Umesh Kumawat from Northern Zone told about the damage caused to the environment by single use plastic and also made other people aware to not use it. During this, all the staff of the local area office and Northern Zone Jaipur were sworn in to use bags made of paper and jute instead of single use plastic. Councilor Bhupendra Meena, Assistant Director Harshvardhan Singh Garhwal, Chandrakanta Chandel, Ramdhan Meena, Kaluram Meena, Haricharan Meena, Mahesh Meena and other employees of the office were present.
Local residents participated enthusiastically in Shramdaan with the help of Municipal Corporation at the 460 year old Jhoothan ki Bawdi located at Sanganer City Bus Stand. Everyone also pledged to develop greenery here during monsoon by cleaning it. Sanganer Zone Deputy Commissioner Gordhanlal Sharma, Uttam Chand Bachani, Ramjilal Sharma, Purushottam Bachani, Gulab Chand Sharma of Vyapar Mahasangh Sanganer were present.
