Voters voted from home on the first day of Rajasthan By-Election, know the update of home voting in Dausa.

Jaipur : A total of 900 voters voted from home under home voting in six assembly constituencies except Dausa for the by-elections in Rajasthan. Nine voters died after submitting applications for home voting, due to which they could not cast the last vote of their lives. At the same time, 21 voters were not found at home, whose voting will be conducted later.

According to Chief Electoral Officer Naveen Mahajan, the first phase of home voting has started in Jhunjhunu, Ramgarh, Deoli-Uniara, Khinvsar, Salumber and Chaurasi assembly constituencies, while home voting in Dausa will start from November 6. On the first day, maximum 253 votes were cast in Chaurasi assembly constituency, while 157 votes were cast in Deoli-Uniara, 147 in Khinvsar, 132 in Jhunjhunu, 132 in Ramgarh and 79 in Salumber.

Names will be added in 193 assembly constituencies by 28th November

Apart from the by-election areas of the state, applications for addition, deletion of names, amendment in addresses, dates of birth, photos etc. of voters in the voter lists of 193 assembly constituencies will be submitted till November 28. Under the campaign, draft voter lists will be placed in special meetings of Gram Sabha, Ward or Residential Welfare Society on 9th and 23rd November. On 10th and 24th November, the concerned BLOs will hold meetings with booth level agents of political parties and common people at the polling stations. All claims and objections related to voter lists will be resolved by December 24 and the final voter lists will be published on January 6, 2025. Voters who do not want to apply to BLO can use the Voter Helpline App (VHA) to add their names to the voter list.
