For the formation of the new government in Maharashtra, voting is going on from 7 am on Wednesday for the by-elections being held on all 288 assembly seats of the state and one Lok Sabha seat (Nanded), which will continue till 6 pm. Strict security arrangements have been made to conduct peaceful voting on all the seats. Meanwhile, many leaders including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh have appealed to the people to participate enthusiastically in this festival of democracy.
