Voting starts from home for By-Election in Rajasthan, see complete information in viral video

Jaipur : Home voting for disabled and elderly voters above 85 years of age has started from today in seven assembly constituencies of Rajasthan, which will continue till November 10. 3193 voters applied for the facility of voting at home, while a total of 1862 voters had voted in these assembly constituencies during the General Election-2023.

Voting had formally started in Ramgarh, Dausa, Deoli-Uniara, Jhunjhunu, Khinvsar, Salumber and Chaurasi assembly constituencies on October 30 with the issue of ballot papers to soldiers. These ballot papers will be accepted until the counting of votes begins on November 23. Let us tell you that a total of 87 teams have been formed for home voting. Each team will have five members and the voting will be videographed.

If voters are not able to cast their vote then the polling team will come again.

Home voting is the second phase of voting, in which 2,365 senior citizens and 828 disabled people will vote. At the time of home voting, representatives of political parties and candidates will also be present at the homes of these voters. In the first phase, polling teams will reach the homes of these voters between November 4 and 8. Polling teams will again reach the homes of voters eligible for home voting who could not vote during this period, on 9-10 November.

Voting will be held through EVM on 13th November

Voting is to be held in these areas through EVMs on 13th November. In such a situation, even before November 13, voting will be conducted for those voters who will be busy in polling, security or essential services on the day of voting. All these votes will be counted on November 23.
