Nagaur : The sports competition “First Vice Chancellor Chal Vyjayanti Sports Competition-2024” of subordinate non-academic staff of Jodhpur Agricultural University started at Government Agriculture College, Nagaur. The competitions will continue till December 1. In the inaugural session, Vice Chancellor of Jodhpur Agricultural University, Arun Kumar said – Mutual harmony increases when all the members of the same family interact during the games. While announcing the first Chal Vyjayanti sports competitions, the Vice Chancellor administered the oath to the players to play with integrity and dignity.
The chief guest of the function was Nagaur District Collector Arun Kumar Purohit. Collector Purohit said that as the former Registrar of the Agricultural University, he has a deep connection with the University. It is commendable that sports are being organized for non-academic personnel for the first time. On the first day of Chal Vaijayanti, various competitions of 100 meters, 400 meters, badminton, cricket, discus throw, chess and carrom were organized.
During this, Vice Chancellor Dr. Arun Kumar expressed his gratitude to the district administration for the development work done in Deshwal village. During the function, Student Welfare Director and organizer Dr. Sevaram Kumawat welcomed. Dr. Kumawat said that 128 players are participating in these competitions. During the 4-day event, competitions of Kabaddi, Basketball, Volleyball, Cricket, Table Tennis, Badminton, Shot Put, Snuggle Throw, Running, Long Jump, Chess and Carrom will be held. is being organised. During the inauguration ceremony, Dean of Jodhpur College Dr. Sitaram Kumhar, Dean of Nagaur College Dr. Jeevaram Verma, Dr. Chandan Rai, Coach Laxman Singh and staff members of the university were present.
