Barmer : Pachpadra police of Balotra district has arrested an accused who stole 5 Coslight ODC batteries 100 AH from Jio mobile tower. The wanted person was absconding for one and a half month. The accused is included in the top-10 accused of the police station. So far two accused have been arrested.
According to the police, Sawai Singh son of Revatdan, resident of Jodhpur Mathania, Nerwa Charnan, appeared at Pachpadra police station and gave the report. In which he told that I am working as Estate Officer in GSP Power System Private Limited.
The company does repair and maintenance work of Reliance Jio towers. The company’s tower is situated on the outskirts of Dand village of Pachpadra police station area. On October 17, 2024 at 12.29 pm at Site ID PHPD ENB 9067, thieves broke the locks of the ODC house on the tower and stole 5 Coslite ODC batteries of 100 AH installed in it. Police have registered a case on the report and started investigation. SI Suraram of Pachpadra police station said that the investigation was started after inspecting the spot.
A team was formed at the police station level and raids were conducted at different places with technical assistance and traditional policing. One accused Chenaram has been arrested earlier. After presenting the accused in the court, he was sent to jail. The accused Parbatram was changing his disguise at various places due to fear of the police. On the basis of technical and information, the police team arrested Parbatram son of Nagaram, resident of Raiwada Pachpadra.
