Congress leader Meena said, ‘Tickets are distributed through the party organization, and MPs have no special role in it. My opinion was definitely taken, but the ticket is decided at the level of the organization and All India Congress Committee. The ticketing process is the same in every party. Many people apply for tickets, but only one candidate is selected. When it comes to opposition, we will manage it. If there is any damage, we will look into it, but right now the situation is under control.

Harish Meena said, ‘Congress Party believes that the public is intelligent and will give priority to the candidate’s ability and simple nature more than his caste or religion. We want that whichever candidate comes among the public, he should get their blessings. This time again the pair of Pilot and Harish Mehta will be in the electoral fray and we are confident that the Congress party will win with its candidate with an overwhelming majority.
