Udaipur : Panther terror in Udaipur has worried everyone from the villagers to the administration. Once again there has been news of a panther attack. When a panther attacked the Bhil settlement of Kamol in Saira, it was beaten to death by the villagers. When Devaram tried to save the buffalo from the panther’s attack, the panther attacked Devaram. After this attack, the villagers united and surrounded the panther and beat him to death. On receiving information, the police force of Saira police station and forest department reached the spot. The forest department took possession of the panther’s body.
The panther attacked Devaram as soon as he opened the door of the house.
According to the villagers, this incident happened in the early morning in Kamol village. A cow and buffalo were tied in the enclosure near the house of 55-year-old Devaram in Basti. Hearing the sounds of cows and buffaloes, Devaram got up and opened the door. Devaram was attacked by a leopard as soon as he opened the door. The panther tore both Devram’s hands and when he screamed, the leopard ran away. People admitted Devaram to the nearest hospital. A crowd of people gathered after the attack. The villagers surrounded Leopard and beat him to death.
Panther movement is visible even in populated areas
The terror of panther is visible in the populated area of Saira. Recently a panther killed a cow standing outside the house. On receiving information that panther had entered the populated area, the villagers including the village sarpanch reached the spot. He informed the veterinarian and the revenue department. Villagers told that the movement of the panther was being seen for a long time. Due to which it is difficult for people to get out of the house.
Leopard has killed 8 people including Gogunda and Jhadol
Leopard terror continues in Udaipur. The administration is busy searching for the man-eating panther in Gogunda. The big question is whether the killed panther is a man-eater or not? Before this, a total of 8 people including 7 in Gogunda and 1 in Jhadol have become victims of leopard.
