The state capital Jaipur also has such beautiful forts and palaces, which many people come here to see. One of these forts is Nahargarh Fort, which is one of the most famous forts in India. A large number of tourists come here every year. Let’s know the history of this fort and interesting things related to it-

According to the Rajasthan Tourism website, Nahargarh Fort is situated on the top of the Aravalli Hills. This fort was built in the year 1734 during the reign of Jai Singh and was later expanded in the year 1868. Nahargarh means the abode of tigers. This fort was specially built to protect Jaipur from the attacking enemies. This fort is still a center of attraction all over the world and people from all over the country come here in large numbers to see its beauty.

Earlier the name of this fort was Sudarshangarh, but later it was named after Yuvraj Nahar Singh who was murdered at this place. Actually, the ghost of the prince wanted that this fort should be named after him. Famous for its beauty, this fort is also famous for its ghostly story. It is said that during the construction of the fort, many such activities took place, due to which the laborers were forced to run away in fear. Actually, people say that whatever work the laborers did in this fort, it used to get destroyed the next day, due to which the construction work of the palace could not be completed and the laborers used to get very scared.

Apart from tourism, this fort is also famous for shooting Bollywood films. The film Rang De Basanti starring actor Aamir Khan was shot here. Since then, this fort has become even more famous among the people. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput has also shot here for his film Shuddh Desi Romance.
