In the time of Paliwal Brahmins in Kuldhara village, Salim Singh was the Diwan of the state. He was very immoral and cruel. People were very upset with his actions. One day Salim Singh’s eyes fell on the daughter of the village head. He proposed to the head to marry his daughter to him. The head and the rest of the villagers were well aware of Salim Singh’s personality. Salim Singh gave some time to the head to take a decision.
