Watching ‘The Sabarmati Report’ with PM Modi was a very special experience for me: Vikrant Massey

New Delhi, December 3 (IANS). On Monday, many leaders including PM Narendra Modi watched the film ‘The Sabarmati Report’ in the Balayogi Auditorium of Parliament. The star cast of the film including many actors were also present on this occasion.

The film’s actress Raashi Khanna told IANS, “When I signed this film, I was very happy. We did not expect at all that the Prime Minister would support this film so much. Earlier he supported the film, and today he took time out of his busy schedule to watch our film. Along with this, he also told us that this is the first film that he has seen after becoming the Prime Minister.

Rashi said that it is very important that we know about our history, and today I am very happy, there is a little bit of nervousness too, but more happiness. Along with this, actress Rashi Khanna was seen thanking everyone.

Actor Vikrant Massey, who came to watch the film, said, “It was a very special experience for me. I can’t explain it in words. This is the most special moment of my life. It is very special to sit and watch this film with the Prime Minister. This is a very special thing for us and our entire team. He appealed to all the people to watch this film.

‘The Sabarmati Report’ was released on 15 November. Vikrant Massey is playing the role of a journalist in the film. Along with him, Raashi Khanna and Riddhi Dogra are also in the lead roles. This film is based on the Godhra incident that took place in Gujarat in 2002.

The film’s director Dheeraj Sarna said, “This moment is incredibly special. This film was made with utmost honesty. It is a matter of great pleasure for us that PM Modi appreciated this film. It is a matter of pride that PM Modi said that after becoming the Prime Minister he has seen the first film. I would tell everyone to watch this film.”
