This time the weather is pleasant in Rajasthan
This time the weather is kind in many districts of Rajasthan. Due to heavy rains, roads, rivers and dams got filled up. Water came in many rivers after many years. However, the lack of water in Bisalpur Dam, the lifeline of Jaipur, Ajmer and Tonk, as per expectations is a matter of concern. Despite heavy rains this time in Rajasthan, Bisalpur Dam has not been able to fill up completely yet. So far this year, 935 mm of rain has been recorded in Tonk. Due to which 32 out of 34 dams of the district have been filled. At the same time, 29 out of 30 dams of the irrigation department were completely filled and overflowed. On the other hand, Bisalpur Dam has been filled only up to 313.38 RL meters so far as against its full filling capacity of 315.50 meters.
