Patna, 7 December (IANS). On reports of ongoing disunity in the India alliance after Mamata Banerjee expressed her intention to lead the alliance and Samajwadi Party state president Abu Azmi in Maharashtra separated from the alliance, JDU leader KC Tyagi said that we already knew that This alliance will not be able to work together. He also reacted to the walkout from the swearing-in ceremony of Congress MLAs in Maharashtra and the question raised by Arvind Kejriwal on the poor law and order situation in Delhi.
Speaking to IANS on reports of disintegration in the Indi alliance, he said, “Janata Dal United and Nitish Kumar came out of the alliance because we already knew that this alliance would not be able to work together.”
Further, on Mamata Banerjee’s desire to lead the India alliance, he said, “There is a dispute regarding leadership in the India alliance. Regional leaders are not happy with Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.”
Subsequently, on the walkout from the swearing-in ceremony of Congress MLAs in Maharashtra, he said, “It means that they do not have faith in democracy and the Constitution. On the contrary, Samajwadi Party MLAs have shown a mirror to them by taking oath. “
Finally, on the question raised by Arvind Kejriwal on the poor law and order situation in Delhi, he said, “Elections are to be held in Delhi in the coming two months and all the parties are busy with their own problems.”
Let us tell you that the plan of opposition parties to unite to challenge the NDA before the Lok Sabha elections 2024 seems to be falling apart. In fact, in 2023, 26 major opposition parties of the country had decided to participate in the Lok Sabha elections together, and together they formed the Indi alliance (Indian National Development Inclusive Alliance). The leadership of this alliance is currently with Congress, whose president is Mallikarjun Kharge. However, after the Lok Sabha elections, the alliance did not get a majority, and now the parties involved in it are seen gradually separating from it.
