We are ready to stop fake votes: SP Singh Baghel

Mainpuri, 12 November (IANS). Union Minister of State SP Singh Baghel expressed his views on various issues while talking to journalists on Tuesday.

He said, “Bharatiya Janata Party is also using its full strength, and the reach of the party is in every village. The national level organization of BJP and its powerful unit have taken a new color, which claims to use all its strength to stop any kind of fake vote. He is confident that only the right voters will give their opinion in the elections this time, and in this way BJP’s victory will be ensured.

He further said, “The Samajwadi Party is trying to corner the BJP government by raising issues like lathi charge against students in the UPPSC examination. This issue is serious for the students, because an examination like UPPSC is a matter related to the hard work of the students and their future. Akhilesh Yadav is also speaking on behalf of his party on this issue and claiming to stand in support of the students. This whole incident has become a part of political drama in a way, in which every party is trying to weaken the opponents as per its strategy, the students have disappeared in this entire protest and this is only and only the drama of political parties. Only that is visible. The government is saying that there will be justice for the students, there will never be injustice.”

He said, “An interesting thing between BJP and other opposition parties is that the opposition leaders are facing allegations of comparing themselves with God. Portraying Rahul Gandhi as Arjuna and comparing himself with Lord Shri Krishna has caused a political controversy. This controversy is affecting religious sentiments, because in India, matters related to God and religion are considered very sensitive. Along with this, the opposition parties have accused BJP of trying to get votes in the name of God and religion, which is disrespectful to the religious and cultural heritage of the country.

He further said, “In UP, BJP’s constant focus is on talking about religion and development. They are trying to connect people by taking the names of religious places like Ayodhya, Kashi and Mathura, while on the other hand they are also giving importance to social and economic schemes, like Kisan Samman Nidhi, toilet construction, Ayushman card etc. “This is a very important part of BJP’s politics, it is showing that BJP is not only working for religion but also for the welfare of the poor and backward classes.”

He said, “The position of Mayawati and her Bahujan Samaj Party has also become important in this election riot. BSP, which was once in power with majority in Uttar Pradesh, has now become very weak. Now they neither have any prominent member nor the political strength to make them a strong opposition. They are not able to stand anywhere in comparison to BJP, and small parties have also made effective efforts on their behalf, such as the parties of Rajbhar and Sanjay Nishad have also presented their electoral claims.”
