Jaipur : Jaipur Municipal Corporation’s acting mayor Kusum Yadav took charge on Wednesday (September 25). Hanuman Chalisa and Jai Shri Ram slogans were chanted. BJP MLA Balmukundacharya purified Congress councillors Manoj Mudgal, Uttam Sharma and Jyoti Chauhan, who came in support of BJP, by making them drink Ganga water and cow urine.

In the 100 seats of Heritage Municipal Corporation, BJP took the support of 8 Congress councillors to cross the majority mark. Congress councillors Manoj Mudgal, Uttam Sharma, Jyoti Chauhan, Sushila, Arvind Methi, Mohammad Zakaria, Paras Jain and Santosh Kanwar joined BJP.

Kusum Yadav contested the election as an independent candidate
On Tuesday (24 September), independent councillor Kusum Yadav was elected. Kusum Yadav has been a member of the BJP. But she contested the last election as an independent candidate. Earlier she was a councillor from the BJP. But when the party did not give her a ticket for the second time, she rebelled and became an independent councillor.

High court will decide in Munesh Gurjar’s case!
Earlier, after issuing a notice against Munesh Gurjar, he was given three days to respond. The Department of Autonomous Governance issued a letter on Monday (September 23). UDH Minister Jhabar Singh Kharra approved the suspension of Munesh Gurjar and also stated the reason for suspending Munesh Gurjar. However, Munesh Gurjar has also knocked the door of the High Court, but the hearing is still pending.
