Shimla, November 25 (IANS). Himachal Pradesh Congress President Pratibha Singh expressed ignorance over the celebrations being held for two years of the government’s tenure. He says that he has no information about it nor has he had any discussion regarding it with the Chief Minister or anyone else.
The brainstorming phase has started in Shimla party office to form a new organization of Congress in Himachal Pradesh. All India Congress Committee (AICC) Secretary and State Congress co-in-charge Vidit Chaudhary and Chetan Chauhan will hold a meeting with Congress leaders in Shimla on Monday and Tuesday and after taking feedback, will give a report to the high command. After which the High Command will take the final decision and form a new executive.
Pratibha Singh addressed a press conference on Monday. Will the young faces currently in the organization also get a chance? On this he said that when one generation goes, a new generation comes. Now we have to bring new people forward.
We will also bring youth forward in the organization. Those who want to work for the party will also be given posts. They will also be given the task for which they should show results. It is also our duty to bring the youth forward. It is our duty to give representation to women also, we will work for this also.
Two years of government will be celebrated on 11th, what are the preparations for it. BJP state president asks what is being celebrated. The guarantees given have not materialized at the ground level, they are only in the headlines. On this he said that BJP has to be criticized. The government has done a lot of work. The promises made by the government have been fully fulfilled.
Many tragedies have come before us, many disasters have also happened and we had to face them too. Due to which there has been some delay. BJP’s job is only to criticize. They will say that nothing has happened.
As far as the Old Pension Scheme is concerned, that too was implemented by the government. After that, the amount of money we had promised to give to the women would have been given immediately if disaster had not occurred in between. When the disaster struck, we hoped that PM Modi would help Himachal Pradesh. He considered the state as his second home. But we did not get any additional financial help from the central government.
Economic problems happen to every state. We are working. Some things are implemented immediately, while some things face obstacles in implementation. The work is being done gradually in a phased manner. Steps are being taken on all the promises made by the government.
