There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rain with thundershowers at some places in Tonk, Jaipur city, Jaipur, Sikar, Nagaur, Ajmer, Dungarpur, Sawai Madhopur, Banswara, Pratapgarh, Bundi, Baran, Kota and Jhalawar. There may be heavy rain at some places.

Yellow alert has been issued in Jaipur city, Dausa, Alwar, Karauli, Jhunjhunu, Churu, Bikaner, Pali, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur districts. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thundershowers at some places. There is a possibility of waterlogging in low-lying areas. There is a possibility of sudden increase in water inflow in rivers and rain drains. Traffic system may be affected due to waterlogging in roads and underpasses.

Meteorological department issued alert
The weather department has issued an alert. Take shelter in a safe place during thunderstorms. Do not take shelter under trees. Stay away from waterlogged areas. Drivers should drive carefully on rain drains, culverts and bridges over seasonal rivers. Wait for the weather to become normal. The weather department has predicted rain till September 16. An alert for light rain has been issued.
Cyclonic circulation formed over northern Haryana
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough line is currently passing over Jaisalmer, Raisen, Chhindwara and moving towards the Bay of Bengal. Cyclonic circulation is formed over northern Haryana. Due to this system, heavy rains are occurring in the north-eastern and southern regions. The rainy season is likely to continue in Rajasthan for the next one week. There is a possibility of heavy rain in some districts and moderate rain in some districts.
